Thursday, 11/15

Hi all: I talked to Jer by phone today, and he told me he was up in his wheelchair again. That had to feel good to him after almost 2 weeks of being flat. He said that they put a different kind of "stockings" on his legs, but didn't wrap them with the ace bandages. I asked how he was doing, and his response was "I'm still sitting, I haven't passed out yet, and it's been 15 minutes". Leave it to my son to be "cute". Remember I told you the nurses love him--one them even brought in her computer for him to use to check his email!! Of course, he had my laptop to use, but it makes it nicer to use the one from the nurse!! One of the nurses yesterday said that they weren't going to let him be discharged--they want to keep him forever!! Of course, we aren't going to let that happen!! :) We still aren't sure when we will be heading back to rehab, but it will be soon I'm sure. We will have more for you tomorrow as we are going back to see him again. Each new day makes us more and more appreciative that we live in this wonderful County! The support that we have received both financially and physically has been overwhelming-- We love you all--thanks so much! Carm

leave it to jer to be able to play the injured sympathy card while in the darn hosptial. I could make a comment about their treatment when the catheter comes out, but I'll leave that for when I talk to him.

Good news all around.

Hey it's Sarah and Jeff. We were just watching the video of us and Zach shooting up that car last winter. It was pretty damn funny. I'm sure you heard that story. Anyways we miss you and Zach and we know you're determined and will definately not let anyone tell you that you can't do something. Keep the good news coming. We love you guys.. and can't wait for another squirt gun fight at Adam's house while wearing a Venom costume. Haha

Great to hear that Jer was finally able to sit up again. Now he is at least mobile in the wheelchair!
The support you are receiving just goes to show what a great person Jeremy is and how many people are behind him and all of you.....And you are right...we WILL NOT let the nurses keep him, but maybe one of them will want to come home with Jer, ha ha!!! Love you guys!!

Message for Jer:

Even if you wanted to stay in bad shape I can guarantee you it would be impossible and you want to know why? Your Mama ain't gonna let ya! With a mother like yours, not only will you walk, you will run, and you might even be able to fly!

Our prayers are with you as you go through this ordeal. Keep your trust in God and He will lead you down the road to recovery.
