Thanksgiving Day
Hi all: thought while I was here with Jer I'd update you all. His day has been good today--he had a short therapy session this morning, and then we all converged on the day room for our dinner. Val, Shaun, the kids and Niki and Zach joined us, which made for a nice dinner--sort of out of the ordinary for us, but never the less, we were together and thankful for the time we have had together. Tomorrow Jer gets right back into therapy pretty much full time. He has sessions from 9-11 and then from 12-3:30, so his days will be full up! But, he is looking forward to the work, and the pain that will probably come with it. There must be hurt to gain strength and mobility. I am going to show Jer how to get on to the blog so that he can update everyone when we can't be here to see him. With his schedule, we probably won't see him much during the week. So glad that all of you got to spend the day together and bring a little bit of "home " to Jer. And I bet he was thankful for Mom's cooking!! I am sure that as we here on the homefront gave thanks today, you were all in our thoughts, as we do have so much to be thankful for in this circumstance......We love you guys!! Will see you guys at the lodge to dance off all this food!!!
HELLO JER,SORRY TOOK SO LONG TO WRITE TO YOU,HAVE TROUBLE W COMP,AND JUST GOT PHYSICAL ADDRESS FRM AUNT GLORIA AND DON'T YOU KNOW IT PJ GETS IT FIXED.OH WELL BETTER LATE THEN NEVER.I HAVE BEEN KEEPING TRACK OF HOW YOU ARE DOING AND AM GLAD THAT THINGS ARE GOING WELL FOR YOU. Hope you had a great thanksgiving day even though I know you would have rather been home than there. I have continued to keep you in my thought and prayers. I am glad to hear you are back doing rehab again. Keep up the good work and keep on smilin'. Hope to be up to see you again soon.

Yo Jer I just left the lodge and man it was jammin There were people there I had not seen in years you sure bring the best out of people. Keep the great (but hard) work up sound like all those prayers and thoughts are being answered. Take care of yourself.

Yo Jer I just left the Lodge and WOW was it jammin. I saw people I had not seen in years and thought to myself "Jer is one lucky fella to have that many people love him so." So you keep up the great (but hard) work I think those prayers and thoughts are working. You take care and here's more thoughts and prayers comin at ya.
