Saturday, 11/10
I just got off the phone with Jeremy, and he indicated that he basically is just letting his body heal from all that it has gone through this past week. He was just getting ready to go to bed and had the nurses "fluffing up his pillows" and getting his leg comfortable. Ron and I decided to stay home this weekend and see if we could get caught up on some of the "stuff". I worked the store today --first day in 3 weeks, and Ron and Zach worked the farm. We will go back on Monday when we will meet with one of Jer's doctors about his knee and what exercises he can do with it. Then, we are hoping that we can make some arrangements for rehab--regardless of where it is at this point. Not being in Syracuse, makes this a short blog tonight--but, in some cases, no news is good news. Love to you all. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Carm

i am so glad to hear that jer is getting stronger each day. i went to school with chris and was in carmens 4-h way back when lol. you all will be in my prayers and thoughts thanks for the updates!

Wonderful Hoffman Family keep up the good work! Remember your extended family (including me) are available to help in any way we can. If Zach needs any help on the farm there are some things I can still do!

What an amazing family you have! I am amazed and quite taken by the loving support and friendship you share with Jeremy every single day while he has been hospitalized. He is such a strong guy with an amazing sence of humor. I am proud to have met he and your family. As unfortunate as the accident was, his character and your strong example of family has enriched my career as a nurse and has made my job so much more pleasant and meaningful. His daily fight is truly an inspiration to the job I do every day. I wish you all the best of luck!!!
