A great day

Hi all: Today was a good day for Jer--he got up in his chair and went for a ride--Taryn was the "driver" and Mackenzie was the "passenger" with Jer. We got to go outside and down to the cafeteria for a while. All in all, he was up in the chair for over 1 hour. We did wrap his legs and abdomen and that seemed to be the trick. His sensations in his legs seem to be increasing somewhat, but he has lost a lot of the swelling and puffiness that he was experiencing! Ron and I are going to be on the phone in the morning to see what Rehab center will accept him, and then we hope that it will be a quick move to wherever so that he can get going on the important stuff. All of his doctors seem to think that as far as his "trauma" is concerned, he is healing just fine. I know Jer was happy to see everyone today and especially because he felt good about being in a chair! The nieces were VERY HAPPY to see their Uncle Jer! Again, our whole family thanks EVERYONE who is in any way helping out! Each day you continue to amaze us with your caring! Love you all--Carm

I am so glad to hear that Jer had a good day. And that Ken got to see him. It means alot to him. I am also glad that the girls got a chance to see thier Uncle Jer. I am sure that meant alot to both them and Jer. One day at a time, that is what I keep telling myself. I love and miss you all. Please give Jer a kiss from his Aunt Angie. I miss those great hugs! See you all soon.

Hey Jer,
I'm sorry I cant be there to watch you harass the nurses all day! Watch out for the male ones...j/k! No I really wish I could come and see you and give you love and encouragement but it sounds like you have lots of family and friends to take care of you. Thanks to all the family for keeping us all posted, you are so strong and brave. I keep you all in my prayers. I was wondering if Jer can receive packages, like the old days, its always fun to fill a box with nothing he needs but stuff that would make him smile. Again, Jer stay strong, you are loved more then you know but are probably realizing it. And stop "accidently" dropping stuff so the nurses have to bend over, your a grown man! But then again you are Jer.
Love Erin

Good to hear that Jer is up and around and having a good time :)

This is from my mom, she's having issues getting into this to make comments

When you go into Jeremy's website, put a comment in there from me?

"Just tell them they are all in my prayers 24/7 and tons of people (who I told about this) are pulling for them too. And like the English say "keep a stiff upper lip"!
Good luck with the rehab.
Thanks Karen"

Talk with you all soon.
Adam

Brother Jer,

It is great to hear that the bandages helped you feel better when you where up sitting in the chair. Keep up the great work. Hope to be able to come see you again soon. You are in my thoughts and prayers every day.
