Friday--one long week later
Hi all: We spent the later half of today with Jer. He was sitting up in the chair in the hallway when we got there--we weren't sure if he was happy to see us or if he was "high" on drugs, but he was waving away!! They took him down to the gym, but the movements make his quezy, and his blood pressure takes a dive to the cellar, so he didn't get to do any exercise, but at least he got to take a tour around the gym to see what they have to offer. When the brought him back to his room, they decided that he needed to be on another floor--so, he is now in 7A326--with all the moving, he got quite tired and wanted to get some sleep, so his company left--we said goodbye and of course, Mom tucked him in!! As usual, he is sucking up to the nurses! Some men never change!! But, we love him just as he is! talk to you all again soon.

I am so sorry to hear that Jer was sick today. I know he was excited to get to rehab. You are in my thoughts all the time. And I check here all the time to see if there is anything new. I hate to bother you with my phone calls. I think that there are no more tears, and then more come. I pray for all of you. God is going to get sick of hearing from me. I feel so useless. Please tell me if there is anything that I can do for you.
I love you.
Angie
Carm & Ron,
Could not believe it when I heard, of course dumb old me said he isn't even old enough to drive. Peggy my niece said Aunt Joyce he is 26. You have been gone a long time, but do kids really grow after you leave. Im so sorry to hear this but just remember he is a farm boy and strong he will be fine. My prayers are with you all. I will keep track on the web. He will always be the little boy across the road to me. Joyce States
Jer,
Great to hear that you got to go to the gym. Don't get disappointed that you didnt feel so well, just remember, it was only the first time. Keep your chin up. I believe in you and know you will accomplish what you set your mind to. I keep you in my prayers and know if you need anything dont hesitate to ask.
Love Ya,
Dawn
One tiny step at a time and just to get out of the room and down to the gym must have felt great....I know it is easy for us to tell you to keep your positive attitude and be strong, but that really is half the battle.....just know that we ALL love you and we are ALL praying for your strength and health. If at first you don't succeed..........the next time you WILL!!
Jer and Family, I can't get my mind or my prayers off you. I remember the same scenario with the sick belly and pressure dive. It will pass. There is no way God won't answer all these prayers and outpouring of love. You will heal. God performs miracles everyday! Love to all, Sharon
Hey Jer,
Just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and praying for you!

All of us at the department are still thinking of you. Keep your chin up buddy and remember that the OFD will always be here for you.

Ron & Carm plus family,
We think of you so often these days. Jer was immediately added to our prayer list at church and our folks will pray for you all.
Any other way we can help, let us know.

Okay... finally got time to register!
I was completely shocked to read of the accident. I am so sorry to hear of your situation.
I know you are tough... although a decent hot pepper can knock the crap out of you... you will get through this and make the best of the outcome that has been chosen for you.
To Jeremy's family... aside from baling hay or cleaning the barn... if you need anything at all... just ask.
After reading all the posts and messages... the size of your family is HUGE... and everyone is here to help where ever we can.
Take care, flirt with the nurses (like you need me to tell you that)... stay strong and you get through it.
I look for postive progress from you everyday... you are doing great and one bad day or two is to be expected. Don't let it get you down!
See ya later on... get well... get home!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Later!
Kevin Romer
